This is the perfect readathon for me as thrillers are definitely my go to and right now as I am in the middle of a reading slump, I am hopeful that this is the readathon to get me going again!
There are 5 challenges and I have chosen 5 books to suit each challenge. Even though I am on holiday from work that week I am under no illusion that I will be able to read all the books, so I have chosen books that fit more than one challenge!
The challenges are:
The official challenges are as follows:
1. Read a thriller
2. Read a book with red on the cover
3. Read a book with a spooky word in the title
4. Read a 2016 release
5. Read a book with a paranormal character/creature

The books I have chosen for each category are:
As I said I have deliberately chosen books that fulfill more than one category and the two books that I am prioritizing are The Bat (OK, I am aware that a bat is not a paranormal creature but I didn't have a book in my collection that fulfilled that challenge and as I have had this on my TBR for many a year, I feel now that the time is right and bats are very creepy, so I am sticking with that!) this also fulfills the challenge of reading a thriller. I have also prioritized Dark Matter as this fulfills 3 challenges (yay, go me!) in that it has a red cover, was published in 2016 and also has a spooky title.
I can't wait to watch/read all about what everyone is reading. This is going to be good!!!
